All-in-one Secure Authentication and Storage Product Description The Authenex® A-Key 4500 security token is the most versatile USB token available. It can be used for both challenge/response and one-time password authentication for remote network (VPN) or encrypted data authentication. The A-Key® 4500 provides secure certificate and web logon credentials storage, one-time password functionality and a 1 GB encrypted flash drive. Either My A-key™ or ACert™ software (both sold separately) can also be pre-installed onto the Authenex® A-Key 4500 token. My A-Key software enables A-Key token users to securely store Web logon credentials and automatically log in to Web sites without having to touch the computer keyboard. ACert™ Software enables A-Key® token users to securely store and use digital certificates on the token. The A-Key® 4500 can also be configured to work with an ASAS® Server (sold separately). Information stored on this flash drive device is protected from unauthorized disclosure due to intrusion, loss or theft. Because the A-Key® 4500 does not require user installation, it can be used anywhere. Secure Flash Drive Mobility Users do not have to install drivers in order to make this secure flash drive work: they just plug it in and it works. Encryption All files saved onto the A-Key® 4500 security token are encrypted on the fly using AES encryption. The encryption functionality is built into the secure flash drive's chip itself. It is not an application installed on the drive: it cannot be altered or erased. Password Management The A-Key® 4500 token has at least one level of password protection: the user level. However, two levels are available: the user and admin levels. This gives the system administrator a greater degree of control over all the A-Key® 4500 token secure flash drives that have been deployed. Privacy No user data stored in the My Documents folder on the A-Key® 4500 token is visible unless the user correctly logs in to it. Peace of Mind Against Loss or Theft For added security in the event that the A-Key® 4500 security token is lost or stolen, if someone tries to log in and fails a configurable number of times, the secure flash drive will automatically erase all user data and restore its factory default settings. This functionality is also built into the secure flash drive’s chip itself. It is not an application on the drive: it cannot be altered or erased.
