Data Compression Compressing data reduces the amount of space required to store your files and therefore the cost of the service. Advanced Data Encryption Technology Your information is kept private by AES encryption which occurs in the backup process before data is copied from your hard disk. AES is currently the industry standard for strong encryption. Your data stays encrypted and thus, confidential until you retrieve it. Minimal Impact on System Performance The Laptop Backup Service runs silently in the background while you work. As files change, only the parts of the files that have changed are backed up. Laptop Backup Service subscriptions licenses may be transferred between computers, but usage may not exceed the number of subscriptions purchased.
